DX400R-DX500R conversion
1. Remove yellow 2200K cap attached to backside of green switch
2. Locate purple wire attached to backside of red switch
3. Remove end of purple wire attached to PCB
4. Solder this end to bare lead of 10-ohm resistor behind red switch
5. Remove red wire of oscillator board from RF choke
6. Remove orange wire and attached 33-pf cap
7. Solder other leg of 15-pf cap to input trace
8. Remove black wire from keying jack
9. Remove oscillator board
10. Remove 10-ohm resistor piggy-backed to 30K resistor located to right of yellow switch next to the RF choke
